Discover Mermaid
The Discover Mermaid experience introduces mermaid activities in shallow water. It is designed as a flexible, informative way to try out a mermaid dive in a controlled environment with a mermaid professional. This is not a certification level. Here you will learn basic mermaid movements and breath-hold techniques.
Time commitment: This experience is a total of 1-1.5 hours

Prerequisites:
You need to be in good physical health
No prior experience with snorkeling, skin diving, freediving, or scuba diving is required, but participants should be comfortable in the water and have basic swimming skills

Advanced Mermaid
Enhance your mermaid skills with advanced techniques in the open water. In the PADI Advanced Mermaid course, you'll build on your PADI Mermaid certification and apply it to deeper waters. You'll learn the basics of how the open water environment differs from a pool or confined water (larger, deeper, more variable conditions) and be introduced to open-water mermaiding techniques, safety, and rescue. You'll also learn about aquatic life – what to expect, how it can affect you, and how you avoid harm.
Time commitment: 6-8 hours

Mermaids for Conservation
Step into the world of magical storytelling and turn your passion for mermaiding into a force for ocean conservation. This intensive 2-day camp transforms participants into certified PADI Mermaids and stewards of the sea.
Over 2 action-packed days, you will master monofin mermaid swimming techniques, dive into local intertidal biology, track marine debris, and learn how to use your unique "mermaid voice" to inspire the public through science communication and creative performance.

We will be offering 3 different options this summer based age groups.
Junior Level | Ages 10-14 | July 31 + Aug 1
Intermediate Level | Ages 14-18 | Aug 31 + Sept 1
Adults for Conservation | Ages 18+ | Aug 29 + 30
Prerequisites:
You need to be in good physical health
No prior experience with snorkeling, skin diving, freediving, or scuba diving is required, but participants should be comfortable in the water and have basic swimming skills
You need to be able to swim at least 50m/160ft without swim aids, able to float comfortably at the surface for at least 5 mins
Ages 10+

Learn proper breathing techniques, duck dives, underwater dynamic swimming, buddy safety protocols, and graceful movement while wearing a mermaid tail
